ges1.0-tools software package provides Tools for use with the GStreamer editing services, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ges1.0-tools
ges1.0-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ges1.0-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ges1.0-tools *
You will get with ges1.0-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
